![]() Beginning January 11th the PACT: Planning A Course Together program is inviting parents, staff and the entire community to tour and evaluate the current conditions of St. Joseph Schools. Each building in the District will host two meetings—one week apart—encouraging participants to get a close look at their neighborhood school with the goal of bringing about a better understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of each building.
At Building Level Meeting #1, attendees will tour their school building and score certain features that support, or perhaps take away from, the academic performance of students. In addition, participants will be asked to reach consensus on any notable deficiencies and/or improvement priorities they might suggest for their school.
One week later, the same group will come together again for Building Level Meeting #2. This second meeting will give participants an opportunity to review their priorities with local architects and determine potential cost factors should the District pursue some of the noted improvements.
Because the two meetings build upon one another, participants are asked to commit to both sessions. All meetings are scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. beginning on January 11th at Bode Middle School and continuing at all District buildings through March.
The entire community is encouraged to participate in this building evaluation opportunity. The District anticipates receiving valuable input as it works to develop a comprehensive Facilities Master Plan and set a course for the future.
